CNY mood setting in

Hi ladies and gentlemen,

A sincere apology is extended due to reason for not updating my blog for like months. Hey what, my title for my post this time around will be on Chinese New Year 2013~~  As for this year, it will pretty much related to this year's CNY celebration. First of all, my co release the staff for an entire week. My office will only be opened on the 18th Feb. Whoaa...such a long CNY break but since we're so lucky that all staff is not apprehended for having such a long weekly break, the co is willing to let us off for 1 week in order that we are able to celebrate with our close-knitted family and relatives. I'm very g.l.a.d!

First day of CNY, going back to hometown. Second day of CNY, perhaps visiting relatives, Third day of CNY, visiting other relatives again. Well, this would be the chronology of CNY hol. The CNY mood is setting in as more and more shopping centres are playing mostly CNY songs. I can feel the CNY hols mood approaching already. But then, I don't think I should receive any more red packet ang pows since I'm like, almost 30 years old!!! Feel so old liao....maybe I'm the one who should give away those little red packets!! However, if they're giving out relentlessly, I will just accept it? :D

As for this coming week, my aunt from Sydney, Aus - Aunty Soo Chan just came back with his hubster and my cousin Li kim. They will be here in KL for about 2 weeks. Yesterday, Uncle Yok Chong gave them a dinner treat. And then today, Aunty Siew Foon will treat them a seafood dinner in Pasang, Klang. As tmrw is a public hol (Prophet Mohammed b'day), we will be treating them luncheon at Ampang Yong Tau Foo at about 11.00am and then, straightaway head to Mid Valley Megamall as Likim wanted to go shopping buying some stuffs.  Nevertheless, we will be spending the day for tmrw in such a way that we wanted to make the trip memorable for my Sydney aunt and her family.

We are looking forward to welcome them to usher the CNY but then, they're going back to Sydney before the actual CNY day. At least, we are able to make the trip memorable for them. Geezz.....

So, in the meanwhile, these will be my written diaries at the moment. In the next 2-3 months, I will be putting down my thoughts in this blog of mine and surely, I will update you guys about it.

So till then, wishing all a very Happy Chinese New Year and Gong Xi Fa Chai!  Enjoy your holidays with your precious families and do cherish this seasonal hol with them. And all this with God's abundance blessings~!

Keep noted on my extraordinary long post...

Hi ladies & gentlements,

A sincere apology is extended because I've not been updating my blog for the past 1 year. Been busy with life and somehow, I've forgotten about my blog altogether. I was almost absent-minded about this blog of mine.  Well, it's been a spectacular year with lots of ups and downs. Good times, bad times...you name it. I've been so blessed because my dad has done his bypass heart surgery last year successfully and due to that, he always has the 'hei' to scold us esp me...heheh. He gets very frustrated very easily these days, don't know the reason but he seems like OK but a little bit prefer to ROARRR on us.

Another event I'm looking up to is Yen Li Christina's wedding dinner. It will be held on 18th Nov (Sun) at Concorde Hotel. Due to this event, May Ng will be coming back on 13th Nov (this falls on Deepavali public holiday) from London to attend this wedding with other BB friends as well.  Everyone is excited about the wedding for this close ex-school mate of mine..I've got her invitation card which she purposely came to my house to pass me the card. Appreciate it so much!! Spoken with Candy on e-buddy last week and she mentioned that she'll be attending the occasion as well. There might be other friends besides May Ng who will attend such as May Ann, Candy, Chin Yee and a few more others. Looks like all my friends are all happily married except a few singles of us. Ahemm....it depends and based on our luck to find Mr Right...don't really know....depends on God to give wisdom on this issues.......

Last week, my parents and sis and Anthony celebrated her birthday at Sakae Sushi at Leisure Mall , Cheras. We ordered bento sets and sushi set, cost about a red bomb for a meal that charge us RM167 for 5 persons. But then overall, it's very nice indeed....can't resist to have sushi again in the near future although it's kinda expensive. Well, just to let you know, it's worth having it for special occasions such as birthday and anniversaries and you won't know if  got carry away with the nice sushi rice starch and wrapped bento sets. Irresistable fine dining! :)

On another note, I'll be having a facial treatment at a traditional facial parlour with my sis this coming Sat....can't wait for it's time to have a cleansed and rejuvenated face again! We normally do it every month, once in every 6 weeks or something like that. It looks like she wanted to go along with me and I just said yupss!  She seems like very glad coz we can do sister's things together, other than that normally we can go makan or go shopping with each other's accompany.

Till then, I've gotta stop here since this is such an extraordinary long post. Hope to pen down my thoughts or chronology of my diary in my daily life again. Thank you for reading my post and please be supportive of all of my logs yeaa!

Room Eighteen BBGS Reunion pre-CNY Luncheon_21 Jan 2012 (Sat)

On the 21st Jan 2012, we had a pre-CNY luncheon with my ex-BBGS school friends at Room Eighteen, a typical Chinese restaurant located at Farenheight shopping centre. The luncheon started at 12.00pm and ended around 3.00pm. We spent our time chatting with each other and had the yee sang tossed during the first dish which was served. From the conversation, I knew that my friends, Nikki Ng Ying Hui and Yeong Ching are now based in S'pore and staying at Commonwealth. It was really a pleasure to get to know each other's updates as we haven't seen each other for a year plus, almost wanted to kept in touch with one another by exchanging contact nbrs. I was really glad seeing everyone in good health and obviously healthiness is something that we cherished the whole year round. It was really a meaningful luncheon and I can't wait to attend the pai-nin session with May Ann and the rest on next Sat. We're gonna carpool together and go from one house to another to celebrate and usher the New Year. Can't wait to attend the CNY celebration..ok, while after reading this post for the dragon Chinese New Year of 2012, here I am presenting the photos for you to look at...and do enjoy the pic images yeah. Yay, Happy New Year 2012 to all again...with prosperity, health and wealthiness coming your way for the entire year :D

Family Dinner

Today, my family and I had a dinner with grandma, Suti and my relatives (Soh Tuck & wife, Steven & wife, Lily & spouse & 2 children) at New Oriental Restaurant at Ulu Pudu. We ordered about 6-7 dishes with rice overall. The dinner was awesome because we just ate the dishes after finishing our white rice. We didn't take any photos of the really full dinner but we loved it to every bite of it. Among the dishes include:

  • assam fish

  • mak choy

  • taugeh with salty fish

  • choy yuin kai (pak cham chicken)

  • tung poh chue yuk

  • ngah poh taufu

Overall, it was a great dinner which costs almost RM197 for a table of 13 people altogether. We went home very glad after the dinner as everyone felt satisfied.

Kelly's 21st Birthday

On the 30th Apr (Sat), I attended my cousin Kelly's 21st anniversary birthday at Sunway Lagoon Club. It was a buffet dinner from 7.00pm-11.30pm. There were a few programmes in line with her b'day celebration. Also, there was an Emcee for those who were looking forward towards the special celebration. At the end of the b'day, we sang a b'day song for her and she made a few b'day wishes, blow a b'day cake, wow it was just amazing. The special dashing thing about the celebration was her mum's HG member who saw Kelly grew up since she was aged 2 or 3 gave a prayer and the prayer was so good and meaningful especially for a young lady like her and blessed God, He saw it through her and made a cheerful and bubbly person whom she is today. "She is not a quiet person mind you; but if you know her well, she's quite a 'loud' person....hahahha,"said her one of her friends during the speech session. Newayz, if we have got the pictures for the b'day party, we will upload it and show all of it to you guys okayz? Till then, will upload more photos for you to enjoy!

Dad Birthday Bash

Yesterday, it was my dad's 63rd birthday bash on a Sat evening. We went to Gasoline at Lookout point to celebrate his b'day there. Anyway, we had invited Kelly and Aunt Kimberly, Koo Mah, Uncle Bernard and Aunt Patricia to attend this special occasion with us. It was all-nite chatting and laughing at jokes that we had. Funny, surprised, shocked were the expression that we had made for ourselves. Good but yea...we really enjoyed the b'day gathering session. As for Uncle Bernard, he might want to celebrate his bday in a grand way next year, as mentioned by him earlier. All of us ordered combo set meals that include a free drink of Jasmine tea or ocean soda as well as a bowl of soup. Wanna know what I've ordered? It was pepper butter chicken chop and a free complimentary Jasmine tea. I loved the tender juicy chicken...loved it to the last drop of the gravy...who wouldn't like the ambience environment with a pretty nice scenery from the top of the hill?? Yes, bet all of us could even go for another hitch hike climb although it's not very tiring to climb all the way to the top hill? Hmmpph...now I try to upload the pics for your enjoyment:-
