Happy New Year 2009!

Looking back, time flies so quickly. On my mum's birthday of a postponed event, we gave her a treat of a crab feast. It was held at a outdoor Chinese restaurant nearby our residential place. The total sum came to about RM120. Expensive but hey yea, we were all satisfied with the sumptuous dinner.

Today is 1st of January 2009. Our family went to Genting today with Uncle Richard. Had plenty of activities today in a row. Firstly, when we reached there, we arrived at the Karaoke lounge to sing KTVs. There are quite a number of English songs such as Westlife, Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey, Carpenters, R.Kelly, Britney Spears to pick up from the song list menu. On top of that, we had lunch in the lounge as well. Apparently, my sis and I ordered 2 bowls of soup rice (RM12 each) and dad ordered a plate of fish and chips (RM20 each) and came with free drinks. Both of us have 100 Plus while he had hot tea. We sang to our satisfaction for 2 hours. Before that, we even had Fillet-O-Fish and Egg McMuffin with chicken roll at McDonalds. Nice breakfast.

After the 2 hours of karaoke-ing, we went to First World Hotel cineplex and watched a Cantonese movie at the theatre. The title of the show is Lady Cop, Papa Roach. Nice that we could watch Sammi Cheng and Eason Chan who acted in it. Not only that, but we also munched on popcorns during the 1 1/2 hour movie. Haha, we loved it all and really get to enjoy ourselves throughout the day.

On another note, I have my new year resolutions as well:

1. To spend more time with my family. I think I have done it so much and sometimes, I thought I have spent more time at work rather than with them. So, this is something I need to do more.
2. To continue and stay on with my job. I prayed it with two fingers crossed.
3. To continue to pay monthly car loan for my mum's aka my lovely "asset".

That's all and till I could think of further more, I will add on to my list.

Till then, would like to wish you all a very happy new year 2009 and may all your wishes come true this year.

Love,
Yew Leng.
